Alice passed away Tuesday morning, August 13, 2019 at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. She was 89 years of age.  Born in Boston, she is the daughter of the late William Nolan.  Alice grew up in Chelsea and attended Chelsea Public Schools.  She graduated from Chelsea High School, Class of 1948.  Alice was a homemaker throughout all of her working career.  She tended to her home, her husband and raised five children.  Alice has been residing in Saugus for the last several years but she was a Chelsea resident for most of her life.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Alice is the wife of the late Peter F. Lake. She is the beloved mother of Peter F. Lake, Jr. of ME, Deborah Eyges of NH, John Lake and his wife Donna, Wayne Lake, Loren Westmoreland and her husband David, all of Saugus.  Alice is predeceased by 10  siblings.  She is lovingly survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:  A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett on Friday, August 23 at 2:00 P.M. Please meet the Funeral Procession at the Front Gate.
