Obituary

Andy was born in Holmstead, PA in 1949 to the late Helen and Andrew.  Luckily for Andy and his sister, their parents loved to travel.  Together as a family they traveled across the country visiting multiple National Parks. This is where Andy's love for the great outdoors developed.  An avid fisherman, Andy loved being on the water.

Andy graduated from West Mifflin North High school in 1969 and later attended Asheville Biltmore College.  This is where he met and married Andrea Hudgins.    They lived and raised their two children in the Black Mountains of North Carolina.  During that time Andy developed a love for woodworking, making toys, furniture and he loved to work on old cars.

After raising their children, Andy and Andrea moved to the Boston area so Andrea could work as a traveling nurse.  Together with the Scottie dog, Gordon, they lived on a boat called the MaryRose, docked in Admirals Hill Marina in Chelsea.   Andrea sadly became gravely ill and passed away in 2009.  Andy decided to stay in Chelsea and continued working at Newly Weds Food Inc.   He met his future wife, Laurie Brown while he was walking his dog Gordie and she was walking her dog, Buddy.  They quickly fell in love and were married in 2014.  Andy and Laurie always felt that Gordie and Buddy conspired to bring them together.

Andy leaves his beloved wife Laurie, his sister Ilona Zoldos of New Bern NC.  His daughter Tanya Anderson and her husband Scott of Maryland and his son Andrew (Toby) Zoldos of Arizona.  Andy is also lovingly survived by four grandchildren, Brandon, Katie, Ava and Annilese.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
