Anna passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at her home in Revere, surrounded by her loving family. She was almost 100 years old. Born in Italy, she is the daughter of the late Mario and Anna Pennise. Anna came to the United States when she was 3 years old. She attended Boston Public Schools. Anna married her beloved husband, Nicholas Marino, when she was just 17 years old. Together they shared 71 years of marriage before his passing in 2004. Anna was a retired shoemaker at the former Algy Shoes in Everett. She used to make the shoes that were sent to the designer stores in New York City. Having worked in the shoe industry, Anna always had the latest fashion and designer shoe in style. Anna loved to cook but especially loved to ballroom dance with her husband. She lived a long life, full of love from her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Anna is the beloved mother of Nicholas Marino and his wife Susan of FL, Janet Aliot of FL, Diane Howell and her husband Paul of Revere. Mother-in-law of the late Paul Aliot. Sister of the late Mary Castiglione. Also lovingly survived by 4 grandchildren, Dona Aliot of FL, Nicholas Marino and his wife Sandy of Saugus, Joseph Aliot of Billerica, Deborah Marino of FL and 2 great granddaughters, Kristen and Marissa Marino of Revere.
