Danny passed away Wednesday morning, April 13, 2022 at his home in Everett.  He was 67 years of age.  Born and raised in Chelsea, he was the son of the late Elmer A. and Beatrice (Nugent) Chapman.  Danny grew up in Chelsea, attending Chelsea Public Schools.  He graduated from Chelsea High School, Class of 1973.  Danny was a longtime Everett resident, residing in the city for 38 years.  He devoted his working career as a chef at the Chelsea Soldier's Home, dedicating 32 years before retiring.  After retiring from the Soldier's Home, Danny became a crossing guard for the City of Chelsea.  He began working for the City 5 years ago and was working as a crossing guard up until his passing.  Danny will be greatly missed by his family and all who loved him.

Danny was the devoted life partner of Cheryl Cunningham of Everett and her children Harold E. Brown III of East Boston and Clifford J. Cunningham of Chelsea.  Beloved brother of Marie Abrams of Winthrop, Barbara Ostler of Chelsea, Beth Baker of Everett and Ellen Chapman of Everett.  Danny is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:   Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Danny's Memorial Service on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., CHELSEA at 10:00 A.M.  Interment is private.
