David passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lynn, Sunday evening, June 18, 2017. He was 54 years of age.  He is the son of the late Francis J. Ewing, Sr. and Loretta F. (Bragg).  David grew up in Chelsea and attended Chelsea Public Schools,  graduating from Chelsea High School, Class of 1980.  After high school David enlisted in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1984.  He has dedicated 25 years of service to the US Postal Service and was currently working as a clerk in Medford.  Formerly a resident of Chelsea, he has been residing in Lynn for the past 17 years.  David is a late member of the Cribbage Club in NH.   He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends at the Post Office.

David is the beloved brother of Karen L. Ewing, Francis J. Ewing, Jr. and his wife Joyce, all of Lynn, Peter D. Ewing and his wife Betty of VA. Dear uncle of Cassandra L. Ewing of VA and Theresa A. LeMay of Revere and great uncle of Daniel and Savannah Ewing of VA and Shane M. and Jason J. LeMay of Revere.  Nephew of Katherine Russell of Burlington, Anita Horrell and her husband Walter of Merrimac, MA.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:  A Memorial Service will be conducted at St. Luke's Episcopal Church 201 Washington Ave. Chelsea on Tuesday, June 27 at 11:00 A.M. Visiting hours will precede the service at the Carafa Family Funeral Home 389 Washington Ave. Chelsea from 9:15 - 10:30 A.M.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment to follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
