Filadelfo passed away Monday evening, July 17, 2017, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 83 years of age.  Born in Sicily, Italy, he is the son of Liberto and Marianna (Fazzari) Garrasi.  In 1964 Fil married his beloved, Marianna (Ciciulla). Two years later be brought his family to the United States and eventually settled in Everett, where he has lived for the past 48 years.  Fil was a retired self-employed barber.  He started his career in Boston but later moved his business to Somerville.  Fil retired in 2002.  His favorite pastime was watching the New England Patriots and his favorite TV shows. He could always be found fast asleep with the TV remote in his hand.

Fil is the beloved husband of Marianna (Ciciulla), with whom he's shared 53 years of marriage. Devoted father of Maria Garrasi of Everett, Albert "Al" Garrasi of Saugus.  Father-in-law of the late Shauna (Lemure) Garrasi.  Also lovingly survived by 1 granddaughter Alana Grace Garrasi of Saugus.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:  Funeral services will be conducted in the Carafa Family Funeral Home 389 Washington Ave. Chelsea on Friday, July 21 at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Visiting hours in the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 P.M.  Interment Woodlawn Cemetery on Everett.
