Obituary

Gail passed away Saturday afternoon, June 10, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.  She was 78 years of age.  Born in Everett, she is the daughter of the late Donald "Ducky" and Marjorie H. (Hillson) Bennett.  Gail was raised in Charlestown, Massachusetts and then settled in Everett, where she lived for over 50 years. She was an avid volleyball player, for many years, playing for the Everett Recreational volleyball team and spent several decades as a member of Glendale United Methodist Church, in Everett, where she made many lifelong friends and touched many hearts. People were always comfortable talking to Gail, and she was always there to help her loved ones, whenever they needed her. Gail was a retired office manager for Zap-Lok Pipeline Systems in Malden.  She will be dearly missed, and we will always remember the love, light and joy Gail brought to those around her.

Gail is the wife of James F. Fantasia of Chelsea.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Cherie Lee Marsden of Everett.  Sister of the late Bette Sacco and Shirley Murray.  Gail is also lovingly survived by beloved nieces and nephews, especially Jill Grosso.
