Gail passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, Wednesday morning, May 22, 2024.  She was 85 years of age.  Born in York, ME, she is the daughter of the late Robert H. and Louise (McDonough) Jacobson.  Gail was a resident of Medford for 60 years but recently moved to Winthrop to be with her son as her health declined.  She was a homemaker throughout most of her working career, tending to her home and to her family.  For 9 years Gail worked at Bloomers Florist in Malden, making floral arrangements; a job she loved dearly.  Gail will be forever cherished by all who loved her.

Gail was the wife of the late Richard R. Guarini.  Beloved mother of Peter Guarini of Winthrop, Richard Guarini and his wife Kim of North Carolina, Guisy Fantoni of Italy.  Dear sister of Joseph Jacobson of Oregon, Barry Jacobson of Minnesota, Paula Jacobson and Laurie Stevens, both of NH. Also lovingly survived by step granddaughter Laurel Matias and her husband Dan and their children Liam and Nora.

FUNERAL SERVICES:  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Ave., CHELSEA on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.  Funeral Services will follow the visitation in the Funeral Home at 7:30 P.M.  Interment is private.
