Hazel passed away Sunday afternoon, August 23, 2015 at the Winchester Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 89 years of age. Born in North Attleborough, she is the daughter of the late Roscoe B. and Inez L. (Story) Allen. For the last year, Hazel has been residing in North Reading at the Meadowview Nursing Care Center. She was a former, longtime resident of Chelsea, which is where Hazel cared for her home and raised her 3 children. Hazel was a ticket vendor at the Revere Flea Market for 15 years.

Hazel is the devoted mother Carol Ann Pace of Woburn, Dorothy R. Connolly and her husband Steven of Reading and the late William J. Brown, Jr. Dear sister of Edith Colella and her husband Edward of Chelsea, Mildred Savard of NH and the late Olin Allen and Helen Pizzano. Sister-in-law of the late Pauline Allen, Wallace Savard, Henry Pizzano. Also lovingly survived by 2 grandsons, Frank Pace and his wife Nadia of Peabody, Paul Pace and his wife Jessica of Stoneham, 3 great granddaughters, Francesca, Alessia, Milania Pace and numerous nieces and nephews.
