Hilda passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 30, 2015 at the Eastpointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center in Chelsea. She was 102 years of age. Born and raised in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, Canada, she is the daughter of the late Bennett and Mary (Dawe) Snow. Hilda attended school in Canada and moved to the United States in 1936. She settled in Chelsea and has been residing in the City for almost 80 years. Throughout her lifetime, Hilda was a stay at home caretaker, caring for her husband, her home and her son and daughter. She was a faithful and hardworking parishioner of the Mt. Bellingham United Methodist Church in Chelsea. Hilda worked on many craft fairs, ham and bean suppers and fin and hadde luncheons at the Church.

Hilda is the wife of the late G. Stanley Reid. Mother of the late Stanley S. Reid and Elaine D. Reid. Mother-in-law of Gladys F. Vickers Reid of Boxford. Sister of Lewis Snow of Canada. Beloved grandmother of Dorothy Reid-Sola of Maine, Donna Reid-Full of Hamilton, Steven S. Reid and his wife Kim of Boxford. Also lovingly survived by one great granddaughter Amanda Reid-Full of Hamilton.
