Jackie passed away Friday morning, November 13, 2015, at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington surrounded by her loving family. She was 69 years of age. Born in Chelsea, she is the daughter of the late James C. and Lillian (McLean) Hayes II. Jackie loved spending time with family and friends and summers on Cape Cod. She took great pride in raising her son James and she loved her 2 grandsons, especially introducing them to summer fun on Cape Cod. She will be deeply missed by all.

Jackie was the devoted wife of James T. Sweeney. Beloved mother of James H. Sweeney and his wife Jessica of East Greenbush, NY, sister of the late James C. Hayes III, and sister-in-law of Alexis Hayes of NY, Joseph F. (Maureen) Sweeney of Milton and Edward A. (Maureen) Sweeney of CA. Cherished grandmother of James T. and Joseph G. Sweeney of East Greenbush, NY.
