Jim passed away on Wednesday afternoon, July 6, 2016, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 66 years of age. Born in Cambridge, he is the son of the late Gaspar and Dorothy (Perry) Mannone. Jim grew up in Somerville and attended Somerville public schools. He was a contractor by trade, specializing in painting and plastering. He was self employed and was the owner and operator of M&M Contracting in Somerville. Jim is a late resident of Revere, where he and his wife have been residing for the last 18 years. Jim spend his spare time fishing and playing the guitar. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Jim is the beloved husband of Linda Mannone, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. He is the devoted father of Michelle Mannone and Lauriann Mannone, both of Revere. Dear brother of Joseph Mannone, Anthony Mannone, Jackie Mannone, Donna Lakin, Diane Mannone and the late Dolly Fagen and Deborah Kenney. He is also lovingly survived by 4 grandchildren, Christopher Mannone, Jordan Virella, Edward Distefano, Grace Ann Wager.

A memorial service and family reflection will be conducted in the Carafa Family Funeral Home 389 Washington Ave. Chelsea on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4-6 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
