Josephine
Sinnickson
Mar 19, 1923 — Jan 1, 2024
Josephine Sinnickson, birth given name, Josefa Valpais Medina, was born March 19, 1923 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She moved to Virginia when she was two years old and grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. She met Clarence L. Sinnickson when she worked as a messenger at the Army Depot. They married and moved to Schenectady, NY.
The couple purchased a little home in Rotterdam, N.Y., where they raised there their only daughter, Victoria. They lived there for 45 years until they decided to move to Massachusetts so they could be closer to their daughter. Josephine passed away on Monday afternoon, January 1, 2024 at her home in Everett, in the loving care of her daughter Victoria and son-in-law, Paul Spring. She was 100 years of age.
Josephine was happily married to Clarence for over 60 years. She loved her family more than anything and she lived her life for them. Her kindness, generosity, honesty and strength made her the wonderful wife, mother and friend to all who loved her. She will be greatly missed.
