Luis entered eternal rest, Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  He was 56 years of age.  Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he is the son of Roberto Garcia and Elba Doris Rodriguez.  Luis dedicated his working career as a mechanic but he retired in 2017 due to his declining health. He loved salsa music and he loved his old school cars.  On Saturday mornings he would love to put on Western shows and just relax.  Weekends were also his time to get some work done on a car.  Luis was also a proud grandfather of 6.  He will be forever missed by all who loved him.

Luis is the husband of Aracelis Menendez.  Beloved father of Luis Garcia of Chelsea, Christian Garcia and his wife Danielle of Chelsea, Ana Garcia of Roxbury, Elba Garcia of Lynn, Juanarelis Garcia of Chelsea.  Dear brother of Jesus Garcia and Carlos Garcia.  Also lovingly survived by 6 grandchildren.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:   Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Ave., CHELSEA, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.  Interment is private
