Lydia (Cordero) Crespo

At 93 years of age, Lydia passed away Monday evening, May 13, 2024 at home, surrounded by the loving care and comfort of her family.  Born in San German, Puerto Rico, she is the daughter of the late Angel and Leonor Cordero.  Lydia attended school in Puerto Rico and settled in Massachusetts as a young adult.  She has been a long time Chelsea resident.  Lydia was a homemaker for much of her working career. She dedicated herself as a guardian to many foster children over the years.  She will be forever cherished by her family.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:   Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Ave., CHELSEA on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M.  Funeral services will follow the visitation in the Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.  Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
