Somerville resident, Norman Robert Kennedy, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.  He was 79 years of age.

Born on May 22, 1944, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Norman John and Evelyn (Dobbyn) Kennedy.  A painter by trade, Bob worked on various jobs over the years.  He was a long-time Chelsea resident who moved to Somerville 30 years ago.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Norman John Kennedy and Evelyn Dobbyn Kennedy, as well as his brothers William Kennedy and Ronald Kennedy.  He was also predeceased by his longtime life partner, Camille Rizzo.  He is lovingly survived by his sister, Florance "Floss" Azzariti, and her husband Dan of Westborough.  Bob is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:  In accordance with Bob's wishes, funeral arrangements are private, and a celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
