Richard S.
"Rick" Capone
Jan 9, 1956 — Mar 28, 2022
Wilmington
Rick entered eternal rest Monday evening, March 28, 2022 after a brief and sudden illness, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 66 years of age. Born in Cambridge, he is the son of Marguerite (Gallo) Capone and the late Richard A. Capone. Rick was a late resident of Wilmington, a town which he also worked in. Rick dedicated his working career as a school custodian in the Wilmington Public Schools. He cherished his time with all of the children he met over the years. Rick dedicated 16 years as a custodian, before retiring in 2017. Rick's love for cars led him to a passion for Corvettes. As a Corvette enthusiast, Rick became one of the founding fathers of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Strong in his faith, Rick was a devout parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Andover. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Rick was the devoted husband of Carol J. (Peddle) Capone of Wilmington, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. Beloved son of Marguerite (Gallo) Capone of NH and the late Richard A. Capone. Dear brother of John A. Capone and his wife Colleen of NH. Brother-in-law of Anita Peddle of Lynnfield and the late James Peddle. Loving God Father of Alexis LeBlanc of Melrose, Anthony Prochilo of NC, James M. Peddle of Tewksbury. Also lovingly survived by numerous "nieces and nephews".
