Robert passed away Monday morning, January 26, 2015 at the Chelsea Soldier's Home. He was 84 years of age. Born in Boston, Robert is the son of the late Joseph T. and Katherine (Quirk) Greensmith. A few years after graduating from high school, Robert enlisted in the US Army on February 14, 1952. He was a CPL in the Korean War. Robert was honorably discharged on January 25, 1954. Robert worked as a warehouseman for the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston for s number of years before retirement. He has been a resident of the Chelsea Soldier's Home for the last 10 years. He will be missed by his family and extended family at the Soldier's Home.

Robert is the brother of the late Joseph T. Greensmith, Jr. Dear brother-in-law of Rose Marie Greensmith of Wilmington. He is also lovingly survived by 1 nephew, 3 nieces and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
