Robert passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at his home in Chelsea.  He was 68 years of age.  Born in Chelsea he is the son of the late George and Emma (Kehoe) Hatfield.  Robert was a retired laborer, having worked at Monahan Lumber in Revere for approximately 11 years.  An avid sports fan; Robert especially enjoyed watching all of the Boston sports teams.  He will be forever missed by all who loved him.

Robert was the husband of the late Patricia (Jakusiak) Hatfield.  He was the beloved father of Robert J. Hatfield, Jr. of NH, Jennifer Hatfield of Beverly, Eric Donaher of Danvers.  Dear brother of Paul Hatfield of Chelsea, Judith Hatfield of DE, Carol A. Manzo of Chelsea and the late Philip Kehoe, Richard Hatfield, Paula Hatfield.  Brother-in-law of Yvonne Kehoe or Revere.  Robert is also lovingly survived by 4 grandchildren, Nigel Hatfield of Worcester, Anthony Hatfield, Sadie Hatfield, both of NH, and Zoe Harrington of Beverly.

Robert's funeral arrangements were private.
