Robert William
Ippolito
Oct 13, 1996 — Jul 29, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert William “Bobby” Ippolito, who passed away at his home in Dorchester on July 29, 2026, at the age of 29.
Born in Stoneham, Bobby was the devoted son of Robert V. and Kathryn A. (Porcaro) Ippolito of Everett. He grew up in Everett and graduated from Everett High School, Class of 2015. Bobby was recently pursuing his lifelong interest in becoming an electrician. As an electrical apprentice, he was proudly working toward earning his journeyman’s license.
Bobby was an incredible man whose heart was as big as his smile. While he had many interests and passions, nothing meant more to him than his family. He was a true family man who cherished every moment spent with those he loved. His kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family were evident in everything he did.
He enjoyed playing softball and was a proud member of a league in Somerville. He loved camping, fishing, attending music festivals, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins alongside his dad and friends. Bobby found peace on the water, whether boating, jet skiing, or fearlessly doing back flips off cliffs. He also had a passion for traveling and exploring the world, but no adventure ever compared to the joy he found simply being surrounded by his family. His warmth, generous spirit, adventurous nature, and ability to make others laugh will be remembered forever by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though Bobby’s life was far too short, the love he gave, the memories he created, and the impact he had on everyone around him will live on forever. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
In addition to his parents, Bobby leaves behind many loving family members and dear friends. He was the beloved brother of Sabrina Ippolito of Everett, the cherished grandson of Alfred Porcaro of Everett, and the proud and loving uncle of Lillian Alice Ippolito of Everett, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his uncle Alfred C. Porcaro of Everett; his aunt and uncle Patricia and Ronald Nickerson of Lynn; his aunt and uncle Frances and Dan DiMare of Melrose; and his uncle and aunt James and Phaedra Ippolito of Peabody.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Alice Porcaro and Frances and James Ippolito; his aunt, Josephine Ippolito Thomas; and his uncles, Rocco and William Ippolito.
Bobby will also be forever missed by his beloved fur babies, Lainey and Thor, who brought him so much happiness, as well as by the many cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were forever touched by his love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit.
