Robert E. Pinksten, lifelong resident of Revere, MA, age 60, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2023 at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers, MA.  Beloved husband of Julie (Terrell) Pinksten.  Chesrished son of Gladys (Puddester) Pinksten and the late George Pinksten.  Adored brother of William of Revere, Carolyn Ranere and her husband Ron of Reading, George and his wife Rosemary of Englewood, FL, and Jim Dixon and his wife Elizabeth of Revere.  Treasured uncle of Jaclyn, Jared, Megan, Kristen, Matthew and Zachary.  Robert was very much loved by his numerous friends and family members.

Robert, endearingly referred to as "Pinky" by his many friends and "Robbie" by his family, graduated from Northeast Vocational School in Wakefield, MA.  He enjoyed his work as a residential contractor and master craftsman.  He served as a Master Mason at Mt. Tabor Lodge.  He was an avid motorcyclist, car enthusiast, hunter and loved anything Newfoundland.

Pinky had a ready smile for everyone, and no one was a stranger to him. He would stop everything and come to your aid.  He treated everyone with ultimate kindness and was always teasing and trying to make you laugh.  His ready refrain when his caregivers would ask if he needed anything was, "Yes, a brain."

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Ave., CHELSEA, on Friday, February 24th from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.  Robert's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the First Church of Winthrop United Methodist, 217 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:00 A.M.
