Susan passed away suddenly, Monday, April 17, 2017, at her home in Malden. She was almost 60 years of age. Born in Chelsea, she is the daughter of the late Ernest C. and Annette J. (Hall) Gibbons. Susan attended Chelsea Public Schools and graduated from Chelsea High School, Class of 1975. She has been working as a personal care assistant at the Cerebral Palsy Association in Boston for the past 7 years.

Susan leaves behind her 4 beloved children, Amanda Soares and her husband Elias of Arlington, Scott P. Walsh, David M. Walsh, Patrick R. Walsh, all of Malden. Dear sister of Linda D. Wareham of Malden. Susan is also the beloved grandmother of 3 grandchildren, Maya R. Sharma, Ava R. Soares, Lia R. Soares, all of Arlington.

ARRANGEMENTS:  Funeral services will be conducted in the Carafa Family Funeral Home 389 Washington Ave. Chelsea on Friday, April 21 at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will precede the service from 10:00 - 12:00 P.M. Interment will follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
