Late resident of Stow, MA, Tom passed away Friday morning, July 14, 2023 at Accent Care Inpatient Hospice Center in Milton.  He was 55 years of age.  Born in Malden, he is the son of the late Thomas F. and Maureen R. (Hosty) Coveney.  Tom grew up in Everett and graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in Boston, Class of 1986.  He studied computer science at Northeastern University before they asked him to work full time for the school.  He began as a technician/programmer before taking a position as the LAN and Internet Administrator.  Tom worked for Northeastern University for several years before taking a Network Consulting job at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).  He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Tom is the beloved husband of Briony G. Keith of Stow.  Devoted father of Kathryn "Kat" Coveney and her boyfriend Rob of TN.  Cherished brother of Paul F. Coveney and his wife Sonia of GA, Michelle Sweeney and her husband Michael of Beverly.  Tom is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Tom's visiting hours in the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Ave. CHELSEA on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.  A Graveside Service will be held on WEDNESDAY at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., PEABODY at 11:00 AM.  Please meet at the Cemetery Gates at 10:45 A.M. Interment to follow the Graveside Service.
