Ginny passed away unexpectedly at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Monday evening, December 5, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was 57 years old. Lifelong resident of Chelsea, she is the daughter of the late Franklin L. and Margaret R. (Geroian) Olson. Ginny attended Chelsea Public Schools and graduated from Chelsea High School, Class of 1977. She dedicated over 20 years of service in the banking industry, first as a teller, then in customer relations and then in the fraud division. For the last 7 years Ginny worked as a medical auditor for Logix Health in Bedford. Having two dogs and two cats of her own, Ginny will be most remembered for her love for animals. In her spare time she enjoyed reading. Virginia will be greatly missed by all who loved her, including her cats and dogs.

Ginny is the beloved wife of Donald H. Bernier, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. Beloved mother of Jessica A. Pultorak and her husband Christopher of Chelsea. Dear sister of Marianne F. Welch and her husband Lawrence of Chelsea. Cherished aunt of Michelle M. Roberts and her husband Craig and great-aunt of KevinRoberts, all of Apache Junction, Arizona and the late Briana Roberts. Ginny is also lovingly survived by 1 granddaughter, Elizabeth M. Pultorak of Chelsea and her sisters-in-law and their families.
