William L. "Bill" Howell passed away Tuesday evening, April 7, 2015 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 80 years of age. Born in Revere, he is the son of the late William R. and Marion L. (Oberlander) Howell. Bill grew up in Revere and Chelsea but graduated from Revere High School. Shortly after high school, Bill enlisted in the US Army on February 28, 1956 during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on February 27, 1959. Bill is a carpenter by trade and owned his own business called William Howell & Son Carpentry.

Bill is the husband of the late Helen A. (Gabryk) Howell. Son of the late William R. and Marion L. (Oberlander) Howell. Beloved brother of Margie Greenstein of Saugus, James C. Howell of North Reading, Charles M. Howell of NH, David Howell of Haverhill, Paul Howell of Billerica and the late John Howell, Jean Patti, Ruth Durant. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
